1. Who we are

iSharePDF is operated by BOISSEAU, French micro-entrepreneur. Contact: contact@isharepdf.com. The Chrome extension and web app at isharepdf.com are the "Service".

2. The radical promise: your PDFs never leave your browser

Unlike iLovePDF, SmallPDF or Sejda, iSharePDF does not have any server-side endpoint to process PDFs. All PDF manipulation (merge, split, compress, OCR, etc.) happens via WebAssembly modules (pdf-lib, PDF.js, Tesseract.js) loaded in your browser. Your file is read from your disk, processed in your browser memory, and written back to your disk. Zero upload. You can verify this yourself: open Chrome DevTools → Network tab while using any tool, and you will observe zero file upload requests.

3. What we DO collect

• Anonymous device ID stored locally in browser (chrome.storage.local) for license verification on Pro accounts. Never associated with any personal data.
• Email address when you sign up for Pro (magic link login). Used solely for authentication and Stripe billing receipts.
• Stripe payment data processed by Stripe (PCI-compliant). We never see your card details.
• License key + subscription status stored in our database to verify Pro access.

4. What we DO NOT collect

• Any content of your PDFs
• Filenames, metadata, page contents
• Browsing history outside isharepdf.com
• IP addresses (we hash them server-side at collection)
• Tracking cookies, behavioral data, etc.

5. One exception: the payment confirmation page

The /success page (shown only after a successful Stripe checkout) loads Google Tag Manager + Google Analytics 4 + Google Ads conversion tracking. This is used exclusively to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns (ROAS) and is fired only once per purchase (transaction-ID deduplication). No tracking is loaded anywhere else on the site — the 80+ tool pages remain 100% tracker-free. If you purchase via a direct link (no ad click), no personal data is shared with Google beyond the standard browser context.

6. GDPR rights

EU residents have the right to access, rectify, delete or port any data we hold. Email contact@isharepdf.com with your account email — we respond within 30 days.

• o2switch (France) — static website hosting
